Nyumba Ya Tumaini is a Kenyan child-focused organization working to rescue, rehabilitate, educate and sustainably reintegrate street-connected children and young people into safe families and communities.
From Immediate Relief to Sustainable Intervention
Our journey began at Shauri Moyo Baptist Church, where we initially provided essential feeding programs to over 300 street-connected children.
However, this frontline experience revealed a deeper, more systemic crisis: the urgent need for a safe haven away from the violence, abuse, and severe neglect of street life.
Nyumba Ya Tumaini was established to transition from temporary relief to a structured, long-term intervention model that safely removes children from the streets and restores them to nurturing families.
